Attributions:

If you're quoting something, you'll need to put down as much and as thorough information as you can find about it.  For example, if you're quoting something from DC or Marvel Comics, your attribution would need to be like this:

[#] Citation for whatever you're excerpting, Marvel Comics, 387 Park Avenue, South, New York, NY 10016

Because I might have to write to them (or Image or Fantagraphics or VIZ or whatever) to get permission to use what you're quoting (or reprinting if you published something in a print journal).  And Fair Use goes down easier if there's proper and thorough attribution to the source.

If you're quoting something on the web, please use the full title, author and url.
